Cased Up is the ninth episode of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air's second season which was first broadcasted on November 11, 1991.

Summary

As Hilary starts her relationship with her father's protégé Eric, Will buys a new car and calls it "The Rapmobile". However after Philip and Vivian kept asking him if he got insurance, Philip forbids him to drive his car.

Later, when Will and Jazz were about to drive to the mall to pick up girls, they get sideswiped by Eric and Hilary from behind. With no insurance, Eric sues Philip for the car collision in order to sue Will.

In court, it appears that Eric is about to win the case when Hilary mentions Will's loud rap music and Eric argues that it drowned out the sounds of his horn warning Will of his acceleration. Eric, however, is revealed to have not been wearing his glasses despite being required to wear them while driving because Hilary thought he looked better without them. Phillip and Will win the case as Phillip congratulates Eric on his performance in court.

Trivia

  • When Carlton leaves for his debate team, he is wearing Nike tennis shoes, which is unusual because his normally wears dress shoes.
  • The radio in Will's car plays Naughty By Nature's O.P.P.
  • In past syndicated airings on TBS and ABC Family, the first segment of the courtroom scene where everyone is walking in is deleted. It just went to the part where Eric comes in. Current airings on BET restored this scene, but skip the scene where Will, Carlton and Hilary play Rock, Paper, Scissors.
  • Jazz gets thrown out in the dark in one scene, then he gets thrown inside after he tells Phillip he is already outside.
