Frank Schaeffer, Sr. is a character on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. Frank is the husband of Janice Smith and the father of Frank Schaeffer, Jr.. He is portrayed by Diedrich Bader and Robert Torti.
Story[]
During his first appearance, Janice and Frank were to be married at the Banks residence. The family was surprised that Janice's fiancé is white, but gradually come to accept it if she is happy. Will in particular was happy when Frank offered gifts and immediately saw him as his new uncle.
Sometime after their wedding and reuniting with his in-laws, Frank finds out that Janice is pregnant and became excited that he's gonna be a father. During the Smith family reunion, Frank and Janice introduce everyone to their son that they named Frank Jr. When the Banks meet Frank Jr, Vivian asks "Oh my goodness, where did you get those beautiful green eyes?" to which Will replies, "I'm guessin', the guy with no rhythm?" to which Frank Sr. replies "You mean Carlton?" and shares a laugh with Will.
