What's Will Got to Do with It? (Part 1)
The Client (Part 2) is the second episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's fifth season which was first broadcast on September 19, 1994.
Revelling in the success of Ashley's first single, Will implements a selection of actions hoping to make Ashley North America's biggest act. However, the recording executive secretly decides that Will is incapable of handling Ashley's career and Will is fired.
After Will proves to be an inexperience manager while trying to promote Ashley, he is fired by Berry Gordy and replaced with someone more experienced, angering Will as he finds out Uncle Phil knew the whole time. As time passes, Ashley becomes egotistical as a result of her success, treating Carlton like a servant and talking condescending towards Will and Hilary. Carlton is also fired by Ashley but reveals that Will and Ashley signed a binding oral agreement where Will gets 15% of the royalties though Will is left with nothing as Ashley's popularity fizzles after a week and her single isn't selling. Ashley and Will make up over the way she treated him due to her ego and Carlton also joins in on the hug.
