Will's Misery is the sixth episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's fifth season which was first broadcast on October 17, 1994.

Summary

When Will wins a date with Lisa, he gets more than he bargained for. He discovers that she is part of a society, who find that men are the inferior gender- and are disrespectful and vile. When Will turns out to fit this description, Lisa drafts in her society colleagues who decide to play a few pranks on Will that he will never forget. This is memorable for a scene where Will finds out that the prank was Carlton's idea, and gets even with him by making Carlton think he killed Lisa with a rock. This prompts Carlton to scream and cry. Carlton runs out of the kitchen through the door, comes back in and drags himself across the floor, running in the cabin, the audience, the school set and finally into Will's arms.

Plot

Will goes on a date with Lisa, who is attempting to get into a sorority who is aware of Will's chauvinistic pick-up lines and humiliate him. On a date to her cabin, Lisa ties Will up to a chair and reveals she is trying to get revenge on him for his treatment of women. Will escapes by burning the ropes with a candle which upsets Lisa as she says she is not crazy and was simply trying to get into the sorority while also saying that tying Will up for humiliation was Carlton's idea. Feeling sorry for her, Will helps her out with the prank which helps her get initiated into the sorority. Will then exacts his revenge on Carlton, tricking him into believing Lisa went crazy so Will accidentally killed her by hitting her in the head with a rock in self-defense. Believing he caused someone to be murdered, Carlton screams and cries while running out the kitchen, dragging himself across the floor, running into the cabin, through the audience, through the school campus and finally into Will's arms.

Meanwhile, Hilary picks out an ugly, furry sweater for Phillip and Vivian to wear at the country club. The two squirt mustard trying to ruin the sweater since they hate it but end up learning Kareem Abdul-Jabbar also wears the same exact sweater. Phillip and Vivian then immediately change their minds and start to love how it looks.
